Our compliance service ensures that your equipment meets the stringent standards, providing a foundation for safe and efficient operations.
Our Australian Standards Compliance Service focuses on meeting the essential requirements without compromising on quality. It is important to note that while our service addresses the minimum Australian Standards, it does not encompass the complete spectrum of manufacturers’ scheduled maintenance or lubrication requirements.

What is included in the compliance inspection?
The following items will be checked and reported on:

  • Conduct a full function and performance test, looking and listening for any abnormalities or faults.
  • Complete all safety inspections requirements outlined by Australian Standards.
  • Visual inspection of structure for rust, deformation, and other structural faults.
  • Check tyre condition for deformation, abnormal wear, and pressure.
  • Check all rope routing and high wear locations for faults.
Routine inspections

Routine inspections are essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of your straddle carriers. We offer a range of services designed to meet the requirements set out in the relevant Australian Standards, as well as the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Our routine inspections are carried out by highly trained technicians who have a thorough understanding of the specific requirements for straddle carriers. Our technicians will complete a full function and performance test, looking and listening for any abnormalities or faults. We will also complete all safety inspections requirements outlined by Australian Standards and visually inspect the structure for rust, deformation, and other structural faults.

What’s included in our routine inspections?
Our inspections cover a wide range of components, including the following:

  • Electrical System: We inspect all electrical systems, including the battery, charging system, lighting system, and controls. We also check all cabling for loose mounting, wear and tear, and inspect electrical panels and junction boxes for any arcing, loose or broken wires.
  • Hydraulic System: Our technicians will visually inspect all hydraulics for leaks and ensure that all hoses and fittings are in good condition. We will also check the hydraulic fluid level and quality, as well as the operation of all hydraulic components.
  • Structural Components: We inspect all structural components, including the frame, axles, wheels, and tires. We will also check the steering alignment and linkage condition, rim condition, and wheel lug nut torque.
  • Safety Systems: Our inspections cover all safety systems, including visual and audible warning devices, limit switches, and safety devices. We will also check the park brake and hoist brake operation.
  • Lubrication and Maintenance: We will lubricate all relevant parts, including all ropes, chains, and lube points. We will also inspect and report on any evidence of a collision.
  • Other Components: Our inspections cover other components such as the air conditioning system, the cab, and the radio controller. We will also inspect all rope guides, drums, and rope terminations for wear or deformation.
Annual Inspections

The annual service covers all requirements by Australian Standards in addition to all daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and hourly requirements up to 500 hours by the OEM. During our annual inspections, our team thoroughly examines your equipment for any deficiencies or deviations from the manufacturer’s recommendations and applicable standards that could potentially pose a risk to the safe use of your equipment.

  • Includes all items completed in the Quarterly Inspection.
  • In depth structural inspection.
  • Test lift of over 50% capacity to watch machine performance and structural stress.
  • Check tension of structural bolts. (10% checked if any are found to be loose further inspection will be required)
  • Replace all final drive oils.
  • Replace all winch drive oils.
  • Run all ropes completely off drums to inspect.
  • Conduct a park brake and hoist brake test.
  • Oil sample of hydraulic fluid.
  • Oil sample of one drive.
  • Oil sample of one winch.
Basic Engine Oil & Fuel Filter Service

Our basic engine oil and fuel filter service ensure that you engines are able to operate at their peak performance. That’s why we recommend servicing every 250 hours, as per the manufacturers’ recommendations.

What does the engine oil and fuel filter service include?

This is a basic service that includes the following:

  • Replace engine oil and engine oil filter.
  • Replace fuel filters.
  • Visual inspections for any leaks, engine wiring, belt condition and/or any abnormalities.
  • Check coolant level and top up if required with tap water.
  • Check condition of air filters and clean out if required. If replacement is required additional cost will be quoted
  • All additional works and or costs if required will be brought to the attention of the site manager for approval for additional works before proceeding.
