All lifting gear should be inspected in accordance with Australian Standards and manufacturer’s specifications. Generally, this equipment is to be inspected every three months, or more frequently if exposed to severe conditions.
We specialise in visually inspecting and testing all your lifting and rigging gear. We offer on-site inspection services to minimise the disruption of operational activities. We have a specialist team trained inspection technicians to carry out all on-site inspections and in-house testing.

How often do slings and lifting attachments need to be inspected?
- Slings should be visually inspected before each use to ensure their effectiveness
- Height Safety and Confined Space Equipment: at least every 6 months intervals.
- Round and Web Lifting Slings: at a minimum of every 3 months.
Cages & Fabricated Lifting Attachments: at a minimum of every 12 months intervals. - Chain slings, shackles, material handling equipment: at a minimum of every 12 months intervals.
